My name is Melissa McCormick, and I'm an LCSW in New York with 13 years of professional experience helping people with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, bipolar disorder, and depression, to name a few common challenges. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the Silver School of Social Work in Westchester County and hold a Bachelor's degree from Queens College, City University of New York. I'm empathic and supportive and like to collaborate in treatment with clients so they can gain a sense of understanding and mastery over the things they're struggling with. I use various tools borrowed from CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and creative approaches as appropriate to each situation. I look forward to working with you!

I see patients through UpLift. When you create your profile, you will input your insurance information and the team will reach out with your copay amount. If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
