What should a new client know about working with you?

COUNSELING PHILOSOPHY & SERVICES As a therapist, my approach is grounded in a combination of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed CBT, and person-centered principles. I have training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Theory. By integrating trauma-informed care, I ensure that healing is approached with sensitivity to past experiences and their impact on mental health. I have years of experience working with children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, Autism, ADHD, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, grief, and loss, and with individuals who identify as queer, non-binary, gender non-conforming, trans, gay, lesbian, or bisexual. I provide services for adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I provide teletherapy services through Rap Teletherapy PLLC to ages 11-85. My primary goal is to support clients in building a healthier relationship with themselves, fostering self-acceptance and resilience. I also work with clients to strengthen their connections with others, helping them develop communication, empathy, and trust in their relationships. I provide a safe environment for teens and adults to enhance well-being and support mood, behavior, and social or academic functioning.
