Hi, my name is Melody Schmutz and I am the owner and founder of Hope Therapy, an online/telehealth solution for individuals and families across Arizona. I provide online/telehealth therapy across Arizona for individuals and families who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, ADHD challenges, and daily stress. Many of the people I work with struggle with racing thoughts, intense emotions, difficulty focusing, or impulsive reactions that affect relationships, work, and self-confidence. Therapy focuses on helping you understand what you’re experiencing, reduce emotional overload, and develop practical coping skills so you can feel more grounded and in control. Together, we work to create small, meaningful changes that build positive momentum—helping you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of hope for your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In my work, I focus on helping clients better understand how their brain and emotions work, while building practical, realistic strategies they can use both in and out of session. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and skills-based.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our sessions will center on collaboration, respect, and empowerment. I start by listening and getting to know you and your unique story. Together we explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, patterns, and challenges at your pace. We build skills and strategies that fit your real life and goals. I see you as more than a diagnosis, I see you as a human being worthy of dignity and respect. You deserve that. Our sessions will provide support to help you build resilience, clarity, and HOPE for your future.
