My approach to therapy is rooted in neuroscience, psychoanalysis, and humanistic-existential philosophy. Humans are a complex and unique combination of nature and nurture. Understanding the environment in which we developed is key to understanding how we interpret and experience the world around us-including our relationships. I can help you see and experience yourself in new ways.

What should a new client know about working with you?

There is no single way to live a fulfilling life. All of us need a safe place to talk about what we're experiencing. Expressing your thoughts and feelings to another person is an essential part of transformation. I work collaboratively with my clients using a person-centered, client-driven approach to develop a therapeutic working alliance. My approach is informed by neuroscience, psychoanalysis and humanistic, existential philosophy. I am sensitive to, and pay attention to emotional trauma and cultural factors. My clinical intention is to help clients see and experience themselves in a new way.

I don’t participate in any insurance programs. This means that my patients pay me out-of-pocket. I provide a monthly “Superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for Out-Of-Network reimbursement. I do not submit claims on your behalf. You will maintain a credit card on file that will be automatically charged our agreed upon fee after each session. You will receive an invoice showing that you have paid at the time of the transaction.
