What should a new client know about working with you?

As a counselor, I am committed to lifelong learning, ethical practice, and cultural humility. I value creating an inclusive and affirming environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel safe, respected, and understood. My goal is to support clients in fostering resilience, improving emotional well-being, strengthening relationships, and achieving personal growth while empowering them to live lives that align with their values and aspirations. At the core of my professional identity are the values of empathy, integrity, collaboration, and respect for each client's unique story. I view counseling as a partnership, one that honors each individual's strengths while providing the guidance, support, and evidence-based care needed to navigate challenges and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session I will complete an intake assessment to gather as much information to better assess and get to know you, your history, and what concerns have brought you to therapy and therefore set up goals. The following sessions, we will engage in talk therapy while pulling from various modalities to help you achieve your goals. Our sessions are 45 min in length on a weekly basis. Please allow 15 minutes before the session to do the intake paperwork. I PROVIDE PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES ONLY; PLEASE NOTE I DON’T PROVIDE MEDICATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES.
