Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or patterns that no longer serve you? Do you struggle with anxiety or depression? Whether it’s pressure from within or external stressors, navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming when you don’t yet have the tools or support to manage your emotions or make sense of your experiences. I provide a safe, supportive space for exploration and growth so you can break old patterns, build resilience, and move toward the life you want. I believe each client is truly one of one. Your story, identity, culture, relationships, and lived experiences matter. Because of this, I approach therapy through a person-centered and holistic lens, integrating multicultural awareness and trauma-informed care into every aspect of our work together. My goal is not simply symptom reduction, but helping you build a life worth living and one that feels aligned, meaningful, and sustainable. Our work will be collaborative and intentional. At times, we may explore deeper patterns shaped by early experiences and relationships. At other times, we may focus on concrete tools to help regulate emotions, shift thinking patterns, and strengthen coping strategies. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT, while also incorporating psychodynamic insight and strengths-based, positive psychology principles. Therapy with me is both reflective and goal-oriented while rooted in understanding, but focused on growth. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, relationship challenges, performance pressure, grief, or major life transitions, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, challenged, and empowered.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and intentional process. You don’t have to come in with everything figured out or know exactly what to say, my role is to help guide that process in a way that feels supportive, structured, and meaningful. Many of the clients I work with feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm. Together, we slow things down and begin to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface so you can better understand your thoughts, emotions, and reactions without judgment. I aim to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged. You can expect me to be present, thoughtful, and engaged, while also helping you take actionable steps toward change. Therapy with me is not just about talking, it’s about building awareness, developing tools, and creating real shifts in how you experience your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We start by building a clear understanding of what’s bringing you into therapy, along with your goals, experiences, and any patterns you’ve been noticing in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships. From there, our work becomes both exploratory and practical. At times, we’ll look deeper into patterns shaped by past experiences and how they may be impacting you now. At other times, we’ll focus on concrete strategies, like learning how to regulate emotions, challenge unhelpful thinking, and strengthen coping skills. I draw from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic work to support both insight and change. This allows us to not only understand the “why” behind what you’re experiencing, but also actively work on the “how” to move forward. Over time, the goal is for you to feel more grounded, more confident in managing your emotions, and more aligned in how you show up in your life and relationships.
