Their therapeutic approach is eclectic and integrates tenants of mindfulness, feminist multicultural, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness and somatic body work, and interpersonal processing. When not meeting with clients Tyler can be found spending time with their ginger cat, Aria (she/her), hiking, attempting to get better at Crossfit, introverting with plants, and otherwise challenging the status quo of harmful power dynamics. Tyler is currently accepting new MD and VA based individual clients or couples/partners via telehealth or in person in Arlington, VA. They also run a therapy and support group for transgender individuals, which is accepting new members.
