My name is Michelle Lakefield and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) for the past 18 years. I have worked with many clients from the ages of 10-70 over the past 18 years. I am compassionate and nonjudgmental and help clients navigate life's challenges. My approach is collaborative, supportive and customized to each client's unique needs. My clients have provided feedback to me that they feel heard, understood and motivated to grow and make changes in their relationships and lives. I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions and relationship struggles. I also have experience supporting adolescents with ADHD and autism and helping their parents manage the challenges that come with raising a neurodiverse child. In addition, I work with adults who are challenged by ADHD, autism, anxiety and depression. My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT) and emotionally focused techniques, helping clients build insight, strengthen relationships and create lasting change.
