What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began with a genuine love for people and a deep curiosity about what helps us heal and grow. As someone from a LatinX background, I have witnessed and experienced the struggles and stigma that can surround mental health and understand how difficult it can be to take the first step toward seeking support. These experiences deepened my commitment to making therapy feel approachable, comfortable, and inclusive. I bring this same warmth, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand each person's unique story to my work with patients.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a humanistic, patient-centered approach to meet each person where they are, using these tools to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies. This approach is compassionate, collaborative, and supportive, grounded in the belief that therapy should feel like a genuine human connection. Because therapy is most effective when patients feel comfortable being their authentic selves, I tailor my approach to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I'm passionate about creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood while developing the tools and insight you need to navigate challenges and move toward meaningful growth.
