Hello, I'm Milagros. I know that engaging in therapy might be a scary thing to do and searching for a therapist might be overwhelming. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in Puerto Rico, where I am originally from. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. I lived in Colorado for 6 years before moving back to my home island of Puerto Rico. In Colorado, I completed my graduate studies and worked for several years in a community mental health agency. Currently, I am working as a Bilingual Independent Therapist in private practice. I would describe myself as down to earth and easy to talk to. My approach in therapy is goal-oriented. I work with clients using a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I work with individuals who are experiencing depression and anxiety symptoms as well as clients who want to improve their family and friends relationships.
