Much of my work centers on three areas: chronic illness, trauma, and women's health. That means living with chronic conditions like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), long COVID, autoimmune illness, and the medical trauma and fatigue that come with them; healing from trauma, whether medical, relational, or rooted in earlier life; and reproductive and women's health, including endometriosis, Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS/PCOS), fertility, pregnancy loss, and the postpartum period. So much of this is carried quietly, and many clients arrive feeling dismissed or unsure whether what they're feeling is "enough" for therapy. It is. My work also extends to anxiety and depression. My approach is warm, direct, and highly integrative. I work with the whole picture, not symptoms in isolation, drawing on EMDR, CBT, DBT skills, and psychodynamic and relational therapy rather than any one-size-fits-all model. With chronic illness and reproductive work especially, that means holding the medical, emotional, and relational at the same time, because they're rarely separate. I'll meet you where you are and help you build both deeper insight and practical tools you can use day-to-day toward steadier ground and lasting change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session, we'll talk about what brings you in and what you're hoping for. You don't need to prepare anything or have the words figured out. Early sessions are simply a chance for me to understand your experiences and what kind of support would actually help. From there, my therapeutic style is collaborative. My clinical focus is on chronic illness (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), long COVID, autoimmune conditions), trauma, and women's health (endometriosis, Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS/PCOS), fertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum), and my work also extends to anxiety and depression. Depending on your needs, I may draw on EMDR, CBT, DBT skills, psychodynamic therapy, and other trauma-informed approaches. You won't have to perform here. Sessions are tailored to you, and we'll check in regularly to make sure the work stays meaningful and aligned with where you want to go.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start by getting a full picture, not just the symptoms but the history, relationships, and bodily experiences shaping them. With chronic illness and women's health concerns, that often means understanding the medical timeline too: diagnoses, treatments, losses, and the way the healthcare system has or hasn't shown up for you. From there, we work at a pace that fits you. For trauma, that may mean EMDR or other trauma-focused processing once we've built the right footing. For anxiety, depression, or the grief that comes with reproductive and health struggles, we might combine deeper insight work with concrete DBT and CBT skills. I move flexibly between these depending on what each stage of our work calls for. Throughout, I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable being honest, including about the parts that feel complicated or hard to say out loud. We'll revisit your goals as we go, so the work keeps reflecting what matters most to you.
