What should a new client know about working with you?

I consider my style very laid-back, conversational and exploratory. I aim to create an environment and relationship where clients can feel safe and relaxed and implicitly valued. No judgement, no failure. I am on your team!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a Creative Arts Therapist, I provide art materials and prompts to support your emotional and personal exploration; however, art-making is never required. Together, we can start where you are most comfortable, get to know each other, and identify your goals and craft a unique path forward. Art Therapy is more than just buzzwords, theory, or making art to relax; it is a relationship that serves as a non-judgmental arena to safely explore past and present experiences, feelings, behaviors, and relationship dynamics. My work is person-centered, grounded in psychodynamic methodology, and powered by empathy, curiosity, and creativity.
