Molly Rust, LPCC

Psychotherapist
5860 S Curtice St, Littleton, CO
Welcome! I am Molly Rust, a licensed professional counselor candidate here in Colorado. I received my Master’s in Global Trauma and International Disaster Psychology from the University of Denver in June of 2023. I am passionate about working with individuals through existential and humanistic lenses and a narrative framework. I view therapy as being a partnership between therapist and client. I feel that clients have the ability to initiate and accomplish changes that they see as meaningful. Throughout my journey, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, community mental health, and intensive outpatient. My clinical focuses include trauma, adolescents, adults, infant and early childhood mental health, global mental health, and substance use disorders. I work with my clients to understand their unique backgrounds and how they navigate their world. Ensuring that my clients feel understood and heard is my primary priority. I offer DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems Model) (treatment method), EFT (emotionally focused therapy), Mindfulness, Narrative therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2021 to begin my Master’s program. I enjoy spending my free time in the mountains or with my two cats, Owl and Olive.
