Morghan Ferreira, LPCC

Psychotherapist
CO
I am a trauma-informed therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of past experiences. Many of the clients I work with feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected and are seeking meaningful change rather than short-term coping alone. My approach is collaborative, structured, and grounded in attachment and nervous-system-based care. I focus on helping clients better understand their patterns, feel more emotionally regulated, and develop a stronger sense of safety and connection within themselves and their relationships. When appropriate, I incorporate EMDR to support deeper healing and resolution of trauma. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Therapy with me is thoughtful and intentional, with an emphasis on both insight and practical change. I welcome clients who are ready to explore, heal, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe working with me as structured, supportive, and grounded. I take time to understand what’s bringing you in, how your experiences and relationships have shaped you, and what you’re hoping will change. My style is collaborative and intentional — we work together to identify patterns, build emotional regulation, and move toward meaningful progress. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed and attachment-focused lens. When appropriate, I may incorporate EMDR to help process experiences that continue to feel “stuck” or overwhelming, but we always move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I prioritize creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and not judged. Clients who tend to do well with me are those who are open to reflection, curious about their inner world, and ready to engage in the therapeutic process. Therapy is not about quick fixes, but about building insight, resilience, and lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work with clients is intentional and collaborative. We begin by spending time understanding what brings you to therapy, your goals, and the patterns or experiences that may be contributing to current challenges. Early sessions focus on building a sense of safety, clarity, and emotional awareness, as well as identifying practical strategies to help you feel more grounded and supported. As therapy progresses, we work together to explore underlying patterns related to anxiety, mood, relationships, attachment, or past experiences. When appropriate and with your consent, I may incorporate EMDR to help process experiences that continue to feel unresolved or emotionally charged. This work is always paced carefully and guided by your readiness and comfort. Throughout therapy, I regularly check in about what feels helpful, adjust our approach as needed, and collaborate on next steps. My goal is to support meaningful, sustainable change while ensuring you feel supported, respected, and actively involved in the process.
