What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy, honesty, and no judgment. Real growth happens when we feel safe enough to be ourselves—messy parts and all. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for a change, I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and am a Resident in Counseling, working under the supervision of Clinical Director Carissa Martin.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients often come in seeking support for anxiety, relationship struggles, major life transitions, low self-worth, grief, and emotional overwhelm. Many are navigating complex family dynamics, feeling disconnected from themselves or others, or stuck in patterns they’re ready to shift. Some come with specific goals, while others just know something feels off and want help making sense of it. I offer in-person sessions at our Old Town Alexandria and Vienna offices.
