I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in Virginia and New York. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Arizona State University. I have practiced throughout the country, from coast to coast, and abroad in Europe. I have expertise in trauma counseling with children, youth, and adults. I have worked with survivors of major tragedies, families of homicide victims, and trauma survivors. I have a specialty in working with the military population. I also have a passion for family work and children. I have been trained in evidence-based modalities to help children overcome anxiety, depression, and manage life stressors, leading to a more improved, fun-filled quality of life. What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you will feel the warmth and compassion and feel understood. You will learn insights about yourself as well as new skills whether it is it is how to identify that thought and challenge it in session, or how not to avoid that sensation and can we tolerate it and be more curious about it. One will walk away withknowing that they were able to feel safe to express their thoughts and feelings and knowing that the puzzle will be clearer afterwards.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
