Getting to know Nancy Wildrick

I have over 25 years of counseling experience and have enjoyed (and had success) working with people of varying age groups, backgrounds, and cultures. I have also been a licensed Massage Therapist for 13 years, so I honor the magic of bodywork as well. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Central Florida, which laid the foundation for my diverse clinical practice. My career began working with child and adult victims of violence, where I utilized play therapy and EMDR techniques to help individuals process and heal from trauma. I then transitioned to working with the elderly population, supporting individuals and their families in accepting their current physical abilities and, at times, processing end-of-life issues. Currently, I work with adults to understand and utilize Cognitive Behavioral tools to help develop and accomplish their goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As human beings we are all very similar, while at the same time, each of us is uniquely different. We are complex biological systems with similar needs, but we are all amazingly diverse in what we have experienced, how we process these experiences, and what gives us joy. We learn most of what we know from other people, both people of very good intentions and (at times) people who have their own wants, interests, or agendas in mind. In your therapy sessions, we'll explore what lessons you want to keep, and which lessons you want to let go of and replace. I would be so honored to guide you through this process and to witness your inevitable growth.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
