Hi, I’m Natalia (Natasha) Kanaev. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from The Catholic University of America and over eight years of experience supporting people through a wide range of challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with individuals who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, immigration-related stress, or addiction. My goal is to help you move toward the life you want by building practical tools and creating meaningful, lasting change. My approach is person-centered, which means I focus on your unique experiences and what matters most to you. I use a variety of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and Motivational Interviewing, and I tailor our work together to fit your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I also speak Russian and value working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I’d be glad to connect with you.
