Navin has over 15 years of experience in several therapeutic, supervisory, and teaching roles. Along with adult clients, he has worked with children, teenagers, families, and couples, and has a history of supporting LGBTQ+ clients, veterans, and marginalized and disadvantaged individuals. He addresses a wide range of issues, including addiction, sexuality, finances, parenting, domestic violence, assault, anger management, trauma, psychoses, depression, and anxiety. Navin believes change is possible in all of us and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to motivate people to find the path that's right for them, all within a safe and supportive environment. He earned his master's degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University and is currently an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Navin is also a college teacher affiliate member of the American Psychological Association. He enjoys being an LGBT parent, visiting family in the Caribbean, and engaging in diverse cultural activities to broaden his awareness of various populations.
