Getting to know Nicholas Lohstroh

I utilize a DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) approach I encourage individuals to commit to individual and group sessions in order to provide the best care and highest likelihood of a desired outcome. I also utilize CBT, solution focus therapy, narrative therapy and psychoanalytical therapy to provide an individualized care plan for each client I serve. I am a skills based therapist and will help people learn and utilize skills to make difficult times more manageable. For Children I will often utilize play and art centered therapy to help them develop effective coping skills for difficult emotions.
