Hi, my name is Nicole "Niki" Ballas. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York with over 27 years of professional experience. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Adelphi University and my Bachelor's degree from Hofstra University. I have worked as a primary therapist and managed an Inpatient Psychiatry Unit for more than 20 years. Throughout my career, I have supported clients struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, and family conflicts. My counseling style is warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. It is important to me that my clients feel heard and validated. Taking the first step to begin therapy can take courage, and I am proud of you for getting started!
