My name is Nicole and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate in Washington State with over 14 years of experience. I earned my MSW from the University of Houston, Graduate College of Social Work. My primary focus is adolescents and young adults in transition. I also am experienced working with neurodiverse individuals (primarily ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder), especially those who were identified as adults - whether formally diagnosed or suspected/self-assessed - and are seeking help understanding this new piece of their identity. In addition, I have experience working with parents, women’s issues and LGBTQI+ individuals. I practice compassion, acceptance, community and environmental awareness. I believe in a personalized approach to therapy, incorporating methods such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), motivational interviewing, active listening, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches.
