Psychotherapist
AZ
Hello! I'm Nicole, and I'm genuinely excited to get to know you better. Here's a little about me to start our journey together. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, along with minors in Sociology and Family and Human Development. In 2017, I earned my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and became a licensed professional counselor (LPC). Additionally, I hold certifications in Trauma and Telehealth. Over the past 8 years, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, including schools, community programs, and a maximum security prison, where I specialized in supporting the Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI) community. In early 2021, I transitioned to teletherapy to better serve my clients. I work with clients of all ages, helping them navigate challenges such as major depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and sleep disorders. My therapeutic approach is flexible and tailored to each client's unique needs. I often utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Therapy techniques. However, I understand that many people benefit from simply engaging in talk therapy, and I'm here to provide that space as well. I believe in the power of learning from my clients and supporting them as they overcome personal obstacles. My goal is to be the right “fit” for your needs, but I also understand that not every counselor is perfect for every person. If you ever feel that we aren't the right match, please let me know. Your comfort and compatibility with your therapist are paramount. I look forward to providing light and direction as you work through any challenges you may be facing. Let's embark on this journey together.
