Getting to know Nurit Rotbart
Hi, my name is Nurit Rotbart, and I believe that feeling comfortable and connected with your counselor is one of the most important parts of beginning therapy. Starting counseling can feel intimidating, so I think it’s important that you have a sense of who I am before we begin working together.
My approach to counseling is warm, supportive, and genuine. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand what’s going on beneath the surface while also finding practical ways to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control moving forward. I believe that real change happens through honest connection, trust, and feeling truly heard without judgment.
I work primarily with women who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or struggling to keep everything together on their own. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, relationship stress, pregnancy, postpartum changes, or simply feeling emotionally exhausted from carrying too much for too long. I believe people often don’t need someone to “fix” them, but rather someone who can sit beside them, genuinely listen, and help them feel less alone while working through life’s challenges together. I also value humor when the time feels right, and believe it can be an important part of building a real and comfortable connection in therapy.
