Is it time to stop feeling stuck, frustrated, depleted, overwhelmed? Do you want instead to feel more connected to your true whole self and to others in your life? To rethink coping mechanisms and behavioral or relational patterns that have become counterproductive? I work with folks navigating stressful life stages, transitions, difficult decisions, interpersonal relationships and roles, health challenges, identity issues. Oftentimes anxiety, depression, addictions, and physical symptoms can all reflect deeper inner experiences that need attention and care. I am here to help clients toward more awareness, healing and wholeness. My work is humanistic, embodied, practical, drawing from insight-oriented, relational and systems approaches, EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT and more. Together we find what fits you, creating a safe, supportive space to explore, engage, make sense of, strengthen and integrate all the parts of your inner world. I work in-person and online, in English, Russian, French. I began my clinical work in outpatient and residential settings after earning my MSW from Pitt in 2004. Since 2009, I have worked with neurodivergent kids with significant disabilities and their families in an educational setting. As a licensed massage therapist since 2014, I deeply value the mind-body connection and use it in my psychotherapy practice.

What should a new client know about working with you?

People usually seek therapy when something in their lives feels like too much, or not enough. We will first explore what brings you in and choose some short and long term goals and methods that speak to you most. As we uncover more pain points, we may gently expand our work. Together we will welcome new insights, shifts and curveballs- internal or external, build skills, and celebrate growth. I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, teens and children, including those with developmental disabilities in various clinical, residential and educational settings. An immigrant myself, I offer culturally sensitive care, and welcome folks from all walks of life. We are all one.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Just like every body responds differently to touch, every person needs different things from therapy. As we get to know each other, we discover together what might help you get closer to the "self" you love to embody, gain deeper insight into patterns, remove blocks to growth. I offer undivided attention, attunement, acceptance and a variety of therapeutic tools, we choose what resonates for you.

More information on payments and coverage

I am not in-network with any insurance panels. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I provide monthly superbills for my clients to submit for out-of-network reimbursement with their insurance provider. Many clients who have out-of-network benefits can get reimbursed 40-80% of the full fee, depending on their plan. You can check your coverage by contacting your insurance provider and asking the following questions: 1. Do I have out-of-network mental health (or behavioral health) benefits? 2. What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met? 3. After the deductible is met, what is the coverage amount (or percentage) per therapy session? I strive to keep therapy affordable for all and offer a sliding scale for those who may qualify, based on income.
