Olivia Pait, LPC

Olivia Pait, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
Hi there, I'm Olivia. Ready to make a change? That's really brave. It takes a lot to reach out for help, and I’m here to honor that. My approach is incredibly affirming and supportive because I know what strength it takes to do this work. I focus on developing strong relationships with my clients that foster direct communication. The research is quite clear that the best predictor of a client’s success in therapy is their relationship with their therapist. My therapeutic training includes DBT, CBT, therapeutic journaling, and mindfulness. I identify as a humanist and existential therapist. Basically, this means I focus my clinical work on helping you sort through and find meaning. I tend to be less interested in following a prescribed treatment modality and focus on tailoring my therapeutic interventions for my clients. What that means for you is a personalized approach. I have read poetry, listened to music, looked through the drawings of my clients, and even taken the enneagram to support individual clients. I take my work seriously, but I never take myself too seriously. Humor is always welcome. Sex is openly discussed. And I swear sometimes. The nuts and bolts: I am a licensed professional counselor and licensed addictions counselor in the state of Colorado. I have been practicing in the field since 2016. My specialties include anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, PTSD, spirituality, stress, trauma, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), and addiction. If you feel ready to take the next step, I'm here to support you on your journey. Let's work together to find the path that feels right for you.
