Getting to know Owen Allie

I’ve been practicing for over 10 years, and one of the things I value most about my work is the opportunity to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of treatment settings, which has given me experience supporting individuals from many different backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. I earned my degree from Argosy University, and I’m passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, and I’m committed to helping my clients build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and move toward the life they want to live.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing what's on your mind. I believe that life is full of changes and transitions, and while those experiences can be overwhelming, you don't have to navigate them alone. I take a warm, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to therapy. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, build on your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. I want you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools that can help you move forward with greater confidence and hope.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Every person who comes to therapy has a unique story, so I take the time to get to know you, understand what you're experiencing, and learn what you hope to gain from our work together. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a partnership, and we'll work collaboratively to identify your goals and create a plan that fits your needs. My experience in a variety of clinical settings has helped me develop a compassionate, dependable, and flexible approach to care. I value open communication and consistency, and I'm committed to providing support that is thoughtful, practical, and tailored to you. I also believe that healing isn't just about working through challenges—it's about learning how to care for yourself along the way. Together, we'll focus on building healthy coping skills, creating balance, and finding realistic ways to support your overall well-being, both in and outside of our sessions.
