I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and earned my Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Denver. With over 40 years of experience in various social work settings. I have had the privilege of working in roles such as a Child Care Worker and Program Director at Chins-up, a Youth In Conflict Caseworker and Supervisor with the El Paso County Department of Human Services, and a Clinical Social Worker in a Day Treatment setting for emotionally troubled children. Since 1993, I have been providing individual, group, family, and couples therapy in my own Private Practice, addressing a wide range of issues including trauma, child abuse, delinquent behavior, failed adoption, depression, parent/child conflict, and LGBTQIA+ issues. and anxiety, For the last 5 years, I have been working primarily with seniors 50 and above, addressing anxiety depression, trauma, relationship issues and life struggles. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that everyone does the best that they can. I join my clients based on their needs and goals, encouraging each person to believe in themselves and their worth.
