Patricia specializes in treating clients who are looking for increased knowledge on Autism Spectrum characteristics in themselves or a loved one, who have been given a diagnosis of ASD, Level 1 or who may share similar characteristics and have not been diagnosed with ASD. Patricia works with clients and families to make sense of their symptoms and to create an individualized plan for success related to communication issues, failure to launch issues, executive functioning challenges, emotional regulation, relationships struggles and more. She also sees clients who seek help for management of ADHD symptoms. She also has a special interest in treating clients with psychogastroenterological symptoms (the brain gut connection) and coping with chronic medical conditions. Preferred treatment methods include EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. As a lifelong learner, she is always researching and learning more about evidence-based therapies to use with her clients.
