Hello, I'm Patricia. You don't have to do it alone. Whether you're supporting a struggling teen or emerging adult, working through the loss of an important relationship, faced with a major life transition, or feel overwhelmed by current events, therapy can help you tap into your innate resilience. I work with individuals to help them understand their reactions, their relationship needs, access their strengths, and develop supportive coping strategies by drawing upon a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. My approach is through a social justice lens, utilizing EMDR as well as techniques from emotion-focused family therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and research on self-compassion. Life can be so challenging, learning to understand your unique attachment needs, build upon your innate strengths, and develop techniques to cope with world events can help bring more joy to your relationships, career, and daily life. I hold an MA and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My support for the LGBTQIA community is informed by the guidelines of the American Psychological Association, WPATH, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. I specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, stress, and trauma. I offer a free 15-minute consultation. If you're ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out and see how we can work together to navigate life's challenges.
