UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and have training and experience in CBT, DBT, CPT, ERP, Motivational Interviewing, and several other modalities. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York at New Paltz. I work with you to identify what is truly important to you and the kind of person you'd like to be. Then we can collaborate to figure out how to make that happen. I'll meet you where you're at and also help you move beyond your comfort zone. My approach is straightforward and transparent. I’m able to probe when needed and provide honest, direct feedback when necessary. While I’m here to listen, my priority is to help people improve their lives. I especially enjoy working with trauma and OCD.
