Phillip Caruso, LPC

Phillip Caruso, LPC

Psychotherapist
NJ
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. Many of the people I work with have spent years managing their lives on the outside while struggling internally with self-doubt, avoidance, or a sense that something important is missing. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your pace. Therapy with me is a chance to slow things down, understand what’s getting in the way, and begin making changes that feel sustainable rather than forced. I believe meaningful progress happens when insight and practical tools are paired with compassion rather than pressure.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
