Getting to know Rachael Caffrey

Hi! My name is Rachael. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I have worked in the mental health field for ten years. I have a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Georgia, and I've worked primarily with adolescents and adults. My experience includes working with issues involving anger management, life transitions, and stressors, substance use and abuse, trauma, depression, grief and loss, and anxiety. I have learned that I am drawn to, and typically use, an eclectic approach. In therapy, I draw from different theories and techniques to best address your presenting concern(s). We are all unique, and what works for one person may not be the right approach for someone else. I believe that we each have the ability to create positive change in our lives; sometimes, we just need a little support and encouragement during that process. I look forward to working with you.
