She utilizes a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, working with clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity development, and career development. Rachel incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness techniques to support clients in processing their life experiences and developing lasting skills for growth and change. She works collaboratively with clients to help identify their goals and tailors each session to meet each client's needs and areas of focus. Rachel has experience working in the performing arts and with artists and creative types among other populations. As a biracial therapist and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, Rachel is passionate about working with multicultural populations and exploring the intersectionality of various identities. She incorporates evidence-based practices with warmth, empathy, humor, and validation in sessions. Rachel holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Music, both from New York University.
