What should a new client know about working with you?

First and foremost, I want you to know that this is a judgment-free space. Whether you're coming in with a clear goal or you're not quite sure where to start, that's completely okay. We'll figure it out together. I work with a wide range of people, from young children to adults, so I'm used to adapting to very different needs and communication styles. Therapy can feel vulnerable, and I take that seriously. My priority is always that you feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very first session.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I usually start with an intake session focused on getting to know you, your history, what's bringing you in, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. From there, we collaboratively set goals and I begin to get a sense of which approaches might work best for you. I don't follow a rigid framework; instead, I pull from different modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness based on what resonates with you and what the moment calls for. Over time, we check in on your progress, adjust as needed, and work toward building the skills and insights that will serve you well beyond our sessions.
