Rachel Jones, LMHC

Psychotherapist
MO
I enjoy helping people overcome anxiety, grief, and life changes through my eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Person Centered. Through developing skills to process grief, increase mood, or navigate life changes, I find happiness as you reach your mental health goals. As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I work with our thoughts, feelings, and emotions and how they interact. When we change one, we have the potential to change the others. In Solution Focused Therapy, we maximize our time by looking at the details of what brings you to therapy and discover skills to help you reach your goals. As a Person Centered therapist, I do not come to our sessions with any kind of agenda. Our time is focused on what you want to work on. Please note, the one area I am not comfortable working in is Trauma. If you have experienced a traumatic event, even if it is not the reason you are currently seeking therapy, I would encourage you to select a therapist who lists Trauma as one of their areas of expertise as there are many who enjoy working in this area and are skilled to helping you heal . Thank you for your understanding in this.
