What should a new client know about working with you?

Sharing your life story and vulnerabilities is a challenge within itself, and developing a supportive therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of therapy. Our sessions are meant to feel collaborative and affirming, blending creative arts and conversation in whatever way feels most useful to you. I'm especially attuned to clients who have felt unseen or misunderstood by the mental health system, and I am committed to a harm reduction, strengths-based approach in which I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and tailor our work to what resonates with you, without judgment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other, where we discuss your journey to therapy, your background, and any past therapy experiences. From there, weekly sessions are a space to discuss what's coming up for you and explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped who you are. What that looks like is something we build together, finding the balance that feels right as we go.
