I'm Randall Allen, a licensed therapist. I earned a Bachelor of Education degree from Northern Arizona University in 1987 and a Master of Counseling degree with High Distinction from Colorado Christian University in 2016. I am licensed in Arizona and New Mexico with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, and anger management. I typically use Choice Theory/Reality Therapy in the therapeutic process with my clients, though I borrow from other theories, such as Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, & Client-Centered Therapy. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. From time to time, I will relate my own life experiences when I believe it will advance the therapeutic process. I work with my clients to help them develop thoughts and behaviors that help them live a more satisfying life. In short, I provide the tools for clients to use to help them live a more satisfying life. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
