What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative experience focused on helping you feel supported, grounded, and empowered as you navigate life’s challenges. I strive to create a calm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly process their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My therapy style is supportive and reflective, while also helping clients identify patterns, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and practical tools that clients can apply in everyday life. I use an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs, incorporating evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based interventions. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, burnout, or life transitions, our work together will focus on building emotional stability, increasing self-awareness, and supporting long-term growth. My goal is for clients to feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout the therapeutic process while developing healthier ways to cope, heal, and move forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The therapeutic process begins with getting to know you as a whole person — your current concerns, personal history, stressors, strengths, and goals for therapy. Early sessions focus on building comfort, understanding patterns that may be contributing to challenges, and identifying the areas where you would like to see change or growth. A typical session is a supportive and collaborative conversation where we explore emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and life experiences while also developing practical coping strategies and tools you can use outside of therapy. Depending on your needs, sessions may focus on emotional processing, stress management, relationship dynamics, self-esteem, life transitions, trauma recovery, or improving daily functioning. My approach is structured yet flexible. Some sessions may involve deeper reflection and insight-building, while others may focus on problem-solving, skill development, grounding techniques, or creating actionable goals. I tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs and pace while helping clients move toward greater emotional stability, self-awareness, and long-term growth.
