Hi, I’m Dr. Raven Harris. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 10 years of experience working in schools, hospitals, community agencies, and outpatient settings. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I also completed my Master’s degree with a focus on child and adolescent psychology. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. I’ve supported many young people who are navigating challenges like ADHD, autism, learning differences, trauma, mood concerns, and behavioral difficulties. I also work closely with families, schools, and other supports to help create a strong foundation for growth and long-term success. My approach is flexible and tailored to each person. I draw from different types of therapy, including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and family-based approaches. I also provide psychological and psychoeducational assessments to help better understand what’s going on and to guide a treatment plan that fits your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I’m passionate about making mental health care more accessible and inclusive, especially for underserved and marginalized communities. I value understanding each person’s cultural background and the different parts of life that shape their experiences. Most importantly, I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can build confidence, better understand yourself, and move toward meaningful growth.
