What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not accepting Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist started at an early age, when I was often the friend people turned to when they needed support, advice, or simply someone to listen. I found great meaning in being there for others and creating a space where people felt safe, heard, and understood. Over time, I realized I wanted to turn that passion into a career, which led me to pursue my master's in Social Work and begin my journey as a therapist. My childhood experiences and friendships continue to guide my commitment to providing empathetic, supportive care, and I bring genuine warmth, curiosity, and compassion to each session because I believe that healing and growth happen through authentic connection. Ultimately, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself while we work together toward the changes that matter most to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work centers on young children, families, and individuals seeking support with emotional regulation and overall well-being, and my specialized training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) allows me to bring a curious, compassionate, and collaborative approach to care. Creating a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful goals that reflect your values and life vision is something I care about deeply. Together, we create a warm, compassionate, and collaborative environment where I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and other evidence-based techniques to help you reflect on your experiences, better understand patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and relationships, and create a pathway toward meaningful change. My style is reflective, curious, and engaging, and I tailor my approach to your unique needs, goals, and life experiences to create an individualized therapeutic environment that supports healing, growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
