UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I work with individuals to create a safe, warm, and supportive space where they can feel free to share openly and honestly. Together, we develop a plan to accomplish specific goals tailored to each person's unique needs. I use an eclectic approach, believing that everyone has their own gifts, skills, and talents. Often, these gifts are hidden beneath the scars left by trauma, abuse, self-doubt, and mental health challenges. Through our work, we can uncover these strengths and help you reclaim the life you are meant to live. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and studied Psychology at James Madison University, which inform my compassionate and individualized approach.
