Getting to know Rebecca McDonald

I enjoy working with diverse individuals seeking to learn more about their mental health and their own emotional and mental wellbeing. Many of the people I work with experience symptoms of anxiety, depression; have chronic health issues, relationship challenges, extremely high stress reactions, and ongoing impacts of past and present trauma in their day to day lives. I focus on getting to know the individual person, exploring their own personal experiences and strengths as well as the struggles they are experiencing to establish personalized intentions and goals that lead to transformative healing and growth. I specialize in treating complex trauma and attachment disorders; I have a background in medical social work and have expertise in chronic, life limiting health challenges and end of life care, as well as providing support for the unique challenges of caregivers; and I have spent many years providing homebased and community care in underserved populations. I look forward to hearing from you.
