Hello, I'm Rebecca. I'm a professional counselor with a master's degree in counseling and a post-master's certificate in counseling children and adolescents from Regis University. I'm licensed in the state of Colorado and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with 14 years of experience in the mental health field. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adult individuals, and I believe counseling is a collaborative, holistic process. My approach comes from a strengths-based perspective that supports a person's capacity for change, growth, and resiliency, while recognizing the importance of one's life story. As a counselor, my goal is to facilitate positive changes in every client's life by creating an environment that feels safe and exploratory. Together, we will look at your experiences, fears, and desires through multiple lenses to gain a deeper understanding and foster growth. I live and work in the south metro Denver area and enjoy spending time with my family, engaging in outdoor activities, traveling, and savoring good food. In addition to my professional work, I have a long history of volunteer and humanitarian efforts, and I serve on multiple boards for non-profit community-based organizations.
