“Regina is great at simultaneously comforting while forcing you to reevaluate / challenge your existing perceptions. Something that I appreciated greatly was her neuroscience background, which provides a lot of interesting scientific insight into why your brain is doing the things it is. I think Regina also does a great job in marrying psychotherapy with faith driven principles (if you choose to go down that route) to help you make decisions that best fit your life goals. Would recommend if you're looking to grow yourself mentally, and are willing to have someone truly assist you.”

Getting to know Regina Yeh

With a decade of experience, I am currently an IFS (Internal Family Systems) Level 2 (w/Dick Schwartz) therapist and an EMDR-certified clinician, with Gottman level 2 and IFIO Advanced Training (w/Toni Herbine Blank) training as a couple therapist. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space, empathetic/active listening as a compassionate presence and witness to see you, hear you, and meet you where you are in your human condition. As an Asian American woman, I have a personal understanding of how to successfully navigate multicultural systems;

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a fully licensed, master's level clinician. By default, I provide secular mental health counseling, but will provide Christian counseling by request. I hold degrees in social work&psychology (specialty in Neuroscience/Oncology/End of Life/trauma). I am certified in EMDR therapy, level two trained in IFS therapy (with Richard Schwartz); for couples am an IFIO advanced clinician, Gottman Level 2 trained, EMDR for couples trained. and and am a trauma specialist with certification in trauma care. I can also venture into neuroscience and existential psychology. I am also very comfortable supporting a client through everyday stressors. (individual sessions are $190 after the initial session and couple is $210, after the initial session) In our sessions you can expect for me to be centered on your concerns and your inner world, cultivating your inner expert on you. You can expect to feel seen, heard, and when timing is appropriate and when and if needed, I will offer suggestions, possibilities and perspectives to explore and consider, inviting you to explore with curiosity.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session and dependent on your symptoms and acuity, the first few sessions, typically comprises of a getting-to-know you, your history, your symptoms and your current insights. As we continue treatment, I will always offer space to check-in on current events, your thoughts and feelings and how they may or may not relate to your therapy goals and concerns. When there are victories, we will take time to hold space for celebration, solidify new learning and new skills; when there are setbacks, we will hold safe space together for the parts of ourselves that might be having a difficult time and provide that compassionate space to process through, staying present as we explore together. When appropriate as treatement continues, we may also check in on how you feel we are doing with regard to your therapy goals and adjust if needed.

    Supportive, compassionate and insightful.
    I am new to therapy and was extremely nervous to start. Regina, was kind, thoughtful, professional and loving. She made the session a positive one, along with bringing to light the root cause of some deep issues I have buried.
    I am going through a tough part of my life, and Regina brings a tremendous insight in spiritual and secular knowledge in helping me to cope with the various traumas and self-doubt. I appreciate her compassion and honesty during our sessions. She always pushes me forward to explore my inner feelings and how my behaviors are directly related. She genuinely cares and I am blessed by her commitment and wisdom.
    Having been a client for about a year, Regina was a fantastic therapist throughout. She consistently brought insight to our sessions that guided me towards more positive self-talk and helped overcome my hesitation to make several decisions which have greatly improved my quality of life. In particular, her thoughtfulness surrounding self-worth and interpersonal relationships helped me take charge of some issues I was "just dealing with", improving on them and gaining the courage to leave situations I should've left long ago. I'm continually grateful for our time together and wholeheartedly recommend Regina.
