What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with adults who appear "fine" on the outside but internally feel stuck in patterns they can't break. If you are someone who tends to overthink, second-guess yourself, engage in people-pleasing tendencies, or feel anxious in your relationships, you are not alone. Together, we untangle the anxiety beneath these patterns and help you build clarity, confidence, and stronger boundaries. I also work with couples who feel stuck in the same fights, struggle to communicate without things escalating, or feel emotionally distant with needs being unmet. CBT and DBT are core components of my practice and I offer practical tools to manage emotions, challenge unhelpful thought processes, and facilitate lasting change. I also integrate attachment-based and psychodynamic insight to understand the “why” behind behaviors and patterns. When helpful, I use EMDR to process past experiences so they feel less overwhelming and "alive."

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I typically meet with clients for 45-minute sessions on a weekly basis, though more frequent sessions can be arranged when clinically helpful. All appointments take place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. I am an out-of-network provider and operate on a private-pay basis, meaning I do not directly accept insurance but am happy to provide you with a "superbill" to submit for reimbursement. Prior to the first appointment, new patients receive electronic intake forms to complete. Reviewing this information in advance allows us to use our first session more effectively and begin discussing your goals right away. At the end of sessions, I often suggest practical strategies, reflections, or exercises to support continued progress between meetings.
