My Philosophy:
The power of insight from therapy changes lives. This has been the experience of many people I’ve worked with in my therapy practice. I provide a safe, effective therapy environment where all people can gain insight and move on with their lives.

Challenges such as depression, loneliness, family issues, social anxiety, work stress, life transitions, chronic illness, relational problems, worry, and grief.
Meeting Your Goals:
We consider options for moving forward with what you want to address, such as behaviors that may be holding you back. The value of counseling for many is that it is essential for advancement along a path to wholeness.
How I Work:
I see psychotherapy as an interactive process. That means you won’t be met with a blank stare. Instead, we engage actively together with what’s on your mind in order to develop solutions that will work in your life. The success of psychotherapy is maximized by doing this.
Education and Training:
I hold a Master’s in Social Work and completed a Fellowship in Psychoanalysis, both from New York University.

I had never been to a therapist before Robert. He helped make me feel comfortable about speaking to a therapist and listened attentively. I look forward to future sessions with Robert because I leave his office feeling better about myself and the world around me. He has helped me start to break out of my shell and be who I want to be.

I have very much enjoyed working with Robert, especially since I was in need of a new therapist. He is attentive, kind, authentic, and creates a safe space where I know I'll be able to think thru and talk about what is on my mind. I feel like Robert is very present in the room and feel like the work is a collaboration between the two of us. I know things take the time that they take, and I am comfortable in that process with Robert.
