I hold a PhD in Counseling Psychology and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University. This time is dedicated to listening and gathering important context—your story, values, and what you hope to achieve—so we can tailor treatment to your specific needs.
From there, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that outlines key areas of focus and practical steps toward progress. Each session builds on the last, helping you identify thought patterns, emotional triggers, and behavioral habits that may be keeping you stuck.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts influence emotions and actions, combined with Humanistic and Person-Centered approaches that provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore deeper feelings.
