Hello, I'm Roberta. Sometimes life is a struggle and the vision of hope is not present. Reaching out for help is the first step in finding hope again. It is understandable that sometimes life is just hard and it is easier to not see hope for the future. My philosophy is that there is always hope; we just have to clear our thought processes in order to find it again. Finding that way to get hope, joy, peace, and happiness in our lives again is worth it so that we feel better about life and ourselves. Providing a comfortable, safe, non-judgmental environment to talk about the things that are weighing you down is important for effective therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MSW, I have a passion for helping those who experience anxiety, stress, depression, mood disorders, and those who are experiencing suicidal thoughts or self-harm thoughts. My methods of therapy are meant to decrease anxiety, stress, depression, mood disorders, and self-harming/suicidal thoughts so that hope can be found again. Therapy should not be a scary experience, nor should you feel judged or pressured to talk about things you are not ready to talk about. I have found that letting the client lead the sessions and control the topic has been extremely effective. My theory is that so many other people judge us; we do not need to judge ourselves. If you're ready to take that first step towards finding hope and joy again, I'm here to support you on your journey. Let's work together to clear the path and rediscover the happiness you deserve.
