Robin Smith, LPC

Psychotherapist
VA
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding. With 13 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other challenges that can make it difficult to feel like yourself. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life circumstances, including survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. My professional experience also includes working in inpatient settings and corrections, which has given me a deeper understanding of the complexities people may face during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I believe counseling is not about being told what to do—it’s about having a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and discover meaningful ways forward. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the counseling process. I recognize that reaching out for counseling can take courage, and I strive to meet each client where they are with respect, compassion, and understanding. Wherever you are in your journey, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
